1. What is BPH?

Benign prostatic hyperplasia, otherwise known as BPH is when the prostate and surrounding tissues expand. As you age, your prostate may get larger. BPH is when it gets large enough to cause problems.

As the prostate enlarges, it presses against the urethra. The bladder wall becomes thicker. Over time the bladder may weaken and lose the ability to empty fully. Urine then remains in the bladder.

A common symptom is drips or dribbles at the end of urination, which sometimes can cause a stain on the front of your pants.

 

2. What is your fabric made of?

Our fabric is a highly absorbent bamboo and cotton blend, sourced thoughtfully by one of our Co-Founder’s, Penni, who is a textile designer.

"ColorFly" is a proprietary design of two wicking layers of poly/spandex working synergistically with our bamboo cotton blend to catch and absorb the drips and dribbles. 

 

3. Do you have to have BPH to benefit from Confident Male?

No! Anyone could benefit from Confident Male because of the soft fabric and fit. The extra absorbent layers are thin and provide absorbency for anyone.

We’ve tested Confident Male with a user group consisting of men of all ages, both ones suffering from BPH and those who do not, and the resounding response from all men has been how comfortable the fabric is and how well the product fits.

 

4. How are you sustainable?

Not only do we offer a way to stay sustainable by washing and rewearing instead of a disposable option as a product but we take sustainability seriously here at Confident Male! From our manufacturing processes to our packaging, we have thoughtfully designed every detail with ethical, sustainable and eco-friendly practices at the forefront. 

Our fabrics are OEKO-TEX® certified, which means that every component of the product from the fabric to the thread and accessories, has been rigorously tested against a list of up 350 toxic chemicals.

 

5. What is your return policy?

Because of the intimate nature of our products, we do not offer returns. If you have received a product that has been damaged or you have a question about sizing, please contact us at support@beaconfidentmale.com and we will be happy to help you!
